Julia Taylor, LMT, SEP (she/they) is a queer, white, somatic bodyworker, parent and co-director of Threshold. Their work welcomes all body types, abilities, and genders and is trauma informed.
Julia’s aim is to create a safe container for folks wanting to engage with the instinctual wilderness of the body for nervous system regulation, relief from symptoms, and intimacy with self and community. Through one-on-one bodywork sessions and group classes, she helps build on your existing resources and name new ones as they arise.
They bring a 28 year study of anatomy, ability to interact with multiple systems in your body at once, and a genuine desire to connect to all of the work. She is a PA licensed massage therapist since 2008, founded Threshold Wellness in 2013, and has a bachelor of fine arts. Julia’s studies have been with Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Visceral Manipulation, Alignment Yoga, and Myofascial Release. Direct mentors include Sage Hayes, Char Azad, Sara Yassky, Jonina Turzi, and Lara Logan.
Indirectly, she learns from Prentis Hemphill, Adrienne Marie Brown, and Stacy Haines.
At Bodyvoto, healing begins with safety, curiosity, and deep listening to the body’s wisdom.
This trauma-informed somatic and craniosacral practice welcomes all bodies into deeper connection and ease. Through gentle, hands-on techniques and a deep understanding of fascia and the nervous system, Julia Taylor helps clients release stored tension, restore balance, and rediscover a sense of aliveness in their bodies. In addition to one-on-one sessions.
Body Voto offers group workshops that explore embodied healing in a supportive, community-centered space.
Whether supporting trauma recovery, nervous system regulation, or overall well-being, Body Voto creates a space where every body is met with care, curiosity, and respect for its unique wisdom.
